Small things make the game better

ive heard from many people, that they wish a new guildmenu..
maybe like in world of warcraft

im in a big guild, with around 40-50 members.
its hard for us to get an overview of people who play pve oder pvp only..

there r just a few points which would make it all better..

-> Guild-leader or officer can create groups:

For example:

Group1: "GVG TEAM"
Group2: "HA TEAM rank0-3"
Group3: "HA TEAM rank3-6"
Group4:" PVE ONLY"

in this groups u can add a groupleader with specials rights etc, and u also can swap all people around

also it would be gr8 to set notices at players.. like: "he was 2days offline without telling a officer" or .. "rank2 but hes good as a rank3"

it would be so great.. and easy for big guild to organize thereselves

some examples from wow, which i found

Initiate, Member, Veteran, Officer, Leader

Guild leaders can also rename the existing ranks and create their own ranks, up to 10.

notices also would be great in friendslist
u can set like in icq/msn a notice.. like:

"Im looking for group"
"i need 2 ppl to help me with a mission xx"

(...)

another point is, that u can see in the guildmenu the Character+Level and the current position!

I'm in Xen of Onslaught, which means we have a couple hundered members.

Use Teamspeak/Vent, it works wonders.

Sounds like you want exactly like what's in WoW(right down to the 5 default ranks...). Maybe add in mounts too?

but wow makes it great

its nicer to have the options ingame.. ur are more flexible.
its not to hrad to create the points i mentioned..

i just want to add the option to create own groups to get an far more better overview of the guild.. it would be easier to organize it all

I like the idea of being able to leave "notes" and comments within the guild. Like I could log in and put up a note that I would like to do the Titans Quests. As other log in they can see that I want to do the quests and then talk about how to go about doing it. Or I could put up a note saying I have found certain items and they are up for give away, instead of saying it each time someone new logs in.

I've always thought it would also make sense that your alliances could be in drop down menus. So that you could see how many members were active / online, and who was online.

I agree with the comments, aswell as I think we should get that on the friend list and ignore list aswell, but the group part I think is too much.

Just because WoW has some good features, doesn't mean Guild Wars is barred from implementing them.

we are right now reorganizing, and it just woulb be great, if we can sort or add notices , like " he is rank 3" "he is rank 6" "GVG-team" (...)

He was agreeing with you, actually. He was saying that if WoW has some good concepts, there is no reason GW can't implement the same kinds of concepts here.

I use my guild forum to organize, but in game recognition that you are the "pvp leader" or "second in command" etc would rock.
